The Internet and Homes in Foreclosure

The cyberworld is here with us alive and kicking.  Whether we like it or not the advances of modern technology will be a part of our daily living.  That also includes homes in foreclosure.

I remember a couple of years ago when I was still in my early years of home foreclosure investing that I have to do a lot of driving to different courthouses.  I tried to learn as much as I could about the different mechanics of trust deeds, mortgages, quit claim deeds…and etc.  It wasn't easy and most of the time I found myself going in circles dealing with the jungle of real estate transactions.

I'm also aware of the ways to get ahead with other real estate investor as far as finding foreclosed properties and distressed homeowner is to research them at the courthouse.  It was a very educating process that helped to get a better understanding of the home foreclosure process.

And then something happened for the couple of years, the internet is just the way to go!  I found out that if you need an information of something, go to the internet!  I was so awed and excited of the fact that whatever information you need about homes in foreclosure, you could find it over the "net".

Now the cyberworld gives the immediate answer from the stage of finding homes in foreclosure, financing it, home repairs/improvement and selling a home.

I think it's so cool that I don't have to drive to the courthouse to get the listings of homeowners in default.  I could just go to the internet.  In fact, I could find any real estate record to most of the properties in the entire nation, just to go www.naco.org.  And it's free!  You have to know what you're looking for though.   The only bad thing now is I miss my friends in the courthouse since I don't personally visit the courthouse that often anymore.  I just let my fingers do the typing.

You want to know the value of a certain property, go to the net!  Finding homes in foreclosure is easy if you know what you're looking for and to make money from it, you have to know value.  What good does it make of finding all the homes in foreclosure if you can't make any profit from them right?

There are multitudes of internet sites out there giving you tips and pointers if you want to know about home repairs.  And now, for some of us who would rather see it, there are videos now showing how to do it.  Don't you just love the internet…I do.
