How Did I Ever Get Started in My Home Foreclosures Investing - Part 3
I did a thorough inspection of this home and the deeper I get the more I questioned myself if I'm doing it right. Since this is my very first home improvement and repair, I'm really concerned that the repair cost alone would eat up my profits.
Overall the carpet is in bad shape and needed to be replaced. Here is the picture of the hallway. Some of the closet doors needs a new one.
The bedrooms got their own challenges that I have to worry about. One of the bedroom got a big hole punched in. It look like the previous owner unleashed a big punch of frustration in life by leaving a fist size hole. This is the room where it has a big punch hole.
Third bedroom
I then noticed also that the carpet is different compared to the rest of the house. The doors in each bedroom got holes meaning "new doors". The window screens are missing.
Master bedroom
Master bathroom
If you could notice that there is an orange sticker on the mirror which is the sticker posted by the servicing utility company for winterizing a vacant foreclosed home. They were pasted on the mirror and the commode for all the bathroom. And they're such a pain to scrape off!
Main bathroom
This bathroom may look fine in the picture. But the linoleum floor needs to be replaced since they were peeling off. You may not notice it in the picture but that commode is about an inch off from the floor and it's tilted.
